Biopolitics and Subjectivity
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to highlight the confluence of pastoral power and biopolitical power, as foundations for today"™s unholy alliance that undermines the sense of democratic political subjectivity. From that perspective, it explores the connections between the Heideggerian conception of subjectivity and alternative pastoral power and biopolitics that Foucault calls through its ethics focused on self-care.Downloads
