Poverty, Votes and New Forms of Participation. A Defense of Political Representation
Abstract
The article departs from empirical data about how poverty affects electoral participation and the so-called "other forms of participation". This serves to criticize the dichotomy between participation and representation, and to normatively defend representative democracy.Downloads
