Abstract

Prostitution and trafficking remain closely linked to the feminization and the vulnerable position of women in the world. So, we wonder what factors influence and maintain this type of violence against women and girls that is increasing and not disappearing. Although it is one of the most lucrative businesses, its causes are rooted in the unequal power relations between men and women and the role of the nations regulating this activity.
