Abortion: A Bio-Psycho-Social Approach
Abstract
The analysis of the socio-demographic conditions of abortion around the world, also including Spain, shows its inevitability in the worldwide geography. The differences are among the grade of insecurity/risk and its consequences in the physical-psychic health and life of women. Pregnancy and abortion during adolescence and the conditions and values that cause them are explained in detail. Consequences of "early forced maternity" in the life of teenagers and its sons and daughters are described, as well as the vulnerability of some women to control their body. Another point to mention is the approach that is required to carry out an effective Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy that has real impact on the reduction of abortion and welfare of women.Downloads
