Epistemic Injustices and Social Theory
Abstract
Social epistemology has expanded its interests to the investigation of the epistemic dimensions of democracy, particularly the deliberative model. A recent topic in these debates is epistemic injustice, in which epistemology, ethics and social orders intertwine. The purpose of this paper is to propose Critical Realism as an adequate philosophy of the social sciences for the conceptualisation of the social facts that take part of these kinds of injustices.Downloads
