Accountability in Massive Data Processing
Abstract
Big data is delivering nowadays a great added value for people, business and society as a whole, in areas as diverse as marketing, finance, and health or public planning. Great opportunities are waiting to be seized. But when dealing with personal data, it is necessary to foresee the risks and act within limits that guarantee the rights and freedoms of individuals. Limits that must go beyond strictly legal issues, setting an ethical framework for big data processing of personal data.Downloads
