Thinking about the future of the school from communities of practice Keys from TikTok

This article problematizes the illustrated ideology that shapes the school cultural proposal in contrast to the technological ways of life embodied by its students. Its approach is based on the analysis of TikTok, one of the most popular social networks among the centennials, looking at this phenomenon as a community of practice. What and how do TikTokers learn? What values and practices support the community cultivation of their interests? In an essayistic register and from an ethnographic methodology, the following pages look at the ultra-world of this social network to give an account of the transformations that configure a whole new way of inhabiting the world that is decentralized from the coordinates that organized our existence under the domain of the Gutenberg era: regime of hypertextual representation, experiential learning, moral economy that reconciles effort with pleasure, culture of convergence, spectacularizing of intimacy.
